No, I said 7-9%, which is both of those scenarios put forward, not one of them. I don’t think they will come out of this better than Sweden, but I also don’t think Sweden will come out of this any better than its neighbors. Denmark’s central bank estimates a 3-10% contraction, so one can ask — is 1% of the GDP less in a worst case scenario for both countries worth celebrating?
It isn’t a victory. It cost thousands of lives and thousands of people crippled. I didn’t bring up the fact the economy is predicted to bounce back because that’s true of every country you mentioned above.
Will you now admit that your previous statement was wrong and that this wasn’t an economical victory for Sweden?
