When this is over, I will. The Swedes have shown their true colors, a government that has no problem with mass-murdering their people — and the people? Don’t get me started.
On one hand, you have the smart ones. The ones who realize that time is of the essence in a response. That this virus requires strong action to suffocate so that society can survive. These aren’t controversial beliefs in other, smarter, less ruined countries like this one.
Then you have the sheep. The ones who believe that the government would never betray them. That despite overwhelming evidence and several countries warning them of what was to come, that such a thing could never happen to them. Pride comes before the fall. Soon these people turned into pussies. Whimpering shells of broken men.
“But how can we survive a lockdown?” They cry. “My god, several weeks inside. Maybe a month or two. It would destroy me! To sit alone, with my family, and my television, games, books, wine. What a disaster!”
It’s almost as if this is the first time terrible things have happened to humanity. It’s because a crisis hasn’t occurred in Sweden and the population is weak-willed and broken. As if they lack a moral strength to guide them, placing a shattered economy up with trembling hands to say “look, look at what we have left! — this is what we must save, the husks of it, the dregs!”.
The economy is already lost. The people already malleable clay to be molded to the whim of the leaders who themselves cower at thought of action. Pathetic.
