Signerades 1997, enligt Wikipedia:
On 27 May 1997, at the NATO Summit in Paris, France, NATO and Russia signed the Founding Act on Mutual Relations, Cooperation and Security,[13] a road map for would-be NATO-Russia cooperation.
Du anklagar mig för Wikipedia men hänvisar själv till siki 😁
Taget från SOFA.
Handlar alltså om ”partnership for peace”..
”SOFAs are often included, along with other types of military agreements, as part of a comprehensive security arrangement with a particular country. A SOFA itself does not constitute a security arrangement; rather, it establishes the rights and privileges of U.S. personnel present in a country in support of the larger security arrangement.”
”There are currently 24 countries, non-members of NATO, subject to the NATO SOFA through their participation in the NATO Partnership for Peace (PfP) program.129 The program consists of bilateral cooperation between individual countries and NATO in order to increase stability, diminish threats to peace, and build strengthened security relationships.130 The individual countries that participate in PfP agree to adhere to the terms of the NATO SOFA.131”
