Is it really proof, that Tim says or acts like he’s “feeling good”? It’s impossible to know how a person really is feeling..
From this point of view, it's of course not a real proof, but, assuming he says the truth, it's the only real information about s.th. that happened from the 16th to the 20th.
And (I try not to speculate) what I get from the interview is:
there was a phone call with a person, who calls himself a friend of Tim, who spent much time with him together before the Oman trip. He didn't say that Tim behaved in a way unusual.
He said:
"Tim had a list of people he was hoping we could reach out to for this album. That was actually the last communication I had from him two days ago, and that’s haunting."
It shows that their work was not finished, it was in full progress and Tim was thinking about it during his vacation. Neil also said that this was not unusual for Tim, he even worked on music, when he was in Peru.
What he says shows me that Tim's thoughts, at the time of their call, were directed towards the future. I don't think (a little bit of speculation is allowed) he meant that Neil should finish the album without him. When you look at videos, where Tim is working in the studio, you will see that he was a perfectionist, who leaves nothing to chance.
My conclusion is, that at the time of the interview, Tim had no plan to kill himself.
What do you think?
