Why do you say that Tim suffered from mental illness for years?
I looked for infos to this and I found that he had a short difficult time before he started touring, but he
could overcome it. Then he started touring and he said himself that the first 4 or 5 years were amazing. Then the problems began, because of strong pain and no time to really recover. in 2015 he took an 8 month timeout where he really began to feel good. When he started touring again in 2016 he felt that the pressure and anxiety came back so he decided to quit. His problems had to do with djing and the medication after hospitalization. He enjoyed his success in the beginning but later on he realized that it was against his real personality, because he was more an introverted person. When he realized this he drew the consequences against all resistances. He was always active in finding solutions when there were difficult times. In 2017 he told that after retiring he felt really even better than before his career. Many colleagues, who were close to him in his last months, told that he seemed to have found a balance in life and was full of energy. That he searched for meaning in life and happiness is nothing unusual and has nothing to do with mental illness, most people do that.
I looked at the documentary twice now and to me Tim seems like a person who knew what he wanted. That not everything was perfect is quite normal.
In my opinion, as you say this very strange location and circumstances let doubts arise.
My very personal feeling is, that if Tim had wanted to kill himself, he would have done it by medication in a peaceful place in his house in LA or somewhere in Sweden.
And as the Oman Police said that they knew all facts and details around his death after 3 days, we can exclude that medication or drugs where involved.[/quote]
I didn’t say he was insane.. I said he suffered from mental illness, as you say yourself. There are even proof from himself writing statements on social media that he suffered from nonrealisation feelings many years ago.
Otherwise I totally agree with you on everything you wrote in your comment above.
