The eldest son of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was arrested on domestic abuse charges Saturday.

Cops collared Track Palin, 28, in Wasilla, Alaska, and he was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief during a Sunday arraignment in state court, according to court documents.

It was not clear whether he entered a plea.

The oldest son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will spend a year in custody after a judge ruled Wednesday that allegations of hitting a woman on the head disqualified him from a therapeutic program for veterans tied to a separate assault case.

Track Palin, 29, has been accused of three attacks on people close to him over the past few years, the most recent coming last week against a female acquaintance. Palin, an Army veteran who served a year in Iraq, entered a program intended to rehabilitate veterans after he was arrested in an assault on his father less than a year ago.

Palin says she received an email June 19 from the attorney, almost three months before Todd Palin filed on his birthday in September.

She described the filing that came shortly after their 31st wedding anniversary as devastating.

Palin says they're going through counseling and their marriage isn't "over, over." She says attorneys are "getting rich" off them.
