Många här inne vet säkert vem "Syriangirl" är, en känd youtuber som debatterat, vloggat och skrivit om det som skett i Syrien de senaste två åren.
Några i tråden har tidigare frågat varför inte Ryssland stödjer Syrien med trupper. Hon fick samma fråga och skrev:
Many people have suggested Syria ask for Russian troops on her soil to defeat the NATO backed FSA and their Al Qaeda foreign fighter friends. I have answered who told you that Syria would allow it? This war is about protecting our sovereignty, and it would be a fate worse than death to lose it to our enemies, but we don't want to have to lose it to our allies either. We are not Bahrain who allowed Saudi Arabian troops in to suppress a handful of peaceful demonstrations. We are Syria, the birth place of Civilizations. The FSA have used foreign militias, so 2 years on we have asked are allied militia Hezbollah for support. But until NATO troops are attacking Syria we would never ask for Russian troop involvement. Besides Our army does not need the help of Russian troops, they are strong enough and brave enough to defend Syrian sovereignty themselves. That's after all their job, and they have been doing a great job for the last two years. But it is not the job of a Russian soldier. We only ask of Russia that they give us the weapons which we have paid with our own money. And do only what is the duty as an allied nation. But we do not beg and pleed for them to be out masters or our guardian, we do not expect it nor want it, we respect that Russia looks after Russia as Syria looks after Syria, we have dignity. You will never see us beg on our hands and knees asking for free guns or foreign planes to bomb our mother land, like the FSA or the SNC do ALL THE time. They are traitors who would sell their own mother, their own country for power, they humiliate us. Do not compare us to those traitorous scum which we fight. We are the patriots.
