In Russia, consumer debt for electricity is growing: from January to September, it increased by 7% and reached 344.9 billion rubles. This follows from data from the Ministry of Construction, which is published by Izvestia.

At the same time, the amount of arrears of a month or more amounted to 219 billion rubles, which is 10% more than it was as of the end of 2023. The largest debts are in the Central Federal District (CFD) - 75.1 billion rubles, or 21.8% of the total debt, and the Volga District - 60.7 billion rubles. In the North Caucasus District, the debt for payment for supplied electricity is on average almost six months.

At the same time, in terms of the level of the regulatory framework and the quality of public services, Russia is undoubtedly ahead of all countries," Putin said.

According to the president, Russia ranks second in the world in terms of the quality of enterprise management and conditions for investment in real estate.
