Edit:
💭🎤* [What about Patriot missiles for Ukraine?] Well, they need them for defense. I don't want to see people getting killed. These missiles are incredibly effective. They're going to need them because they're getting hit really hard.
💭 🤡 [So you're going to send them?] Yeah, maybe. We're looking at it.
More statements:
🟠 We had a very good conversation, a very strategic conversation [with Zelenskyy];
🟠 We’ve been helping them and will continue to help. It’s quite a tough situation. We’ll see what happens;
🟠 I was very unhappy with my conversation with President Putin. And it seems to me that he wants to go all the way and just keep killing people. Not good. That’s not good. I was not happy about it;
🟠 I think Putin is very concerned about the sanctions. We’re considering it. The Senate, as you know, has proposed serious sanctions, very serious sanctions;
🟠 I had a wonderful conversation with German Chancellor Merz. He’s a strong guy, a very good man, did great winning [the elections];
🟠 [Did you give him the green light to send Patriot missiles to Ukraine?] No, although we did talk about it, and he feels they [the Ukrainians] need to be protected;
🟠 [Are you sure you can end the war in Ukraine?] That’s an interesting question

We succeeded with India and Pakistan, with Congo and Rwanda, with Serbia and Kosovo. We helped Egypt and other countries. But this is Biden’s deal, not Trump’s deal. I’m just trying to end it, settle it. We’ll see, I don’t know. I can’t tell you if it will happen;
🟠 [Is it a priority?] Yes, I’d like it to happen. I don’t want 5-7 thousand people getting killed every week;
🟠 [Why are you tougher on Iran than on Russia?] No, I think I’m tougher on Russia than on Iran — if you remember Nord Stream 2, I shut it down;
🟠 [Did you threaten Putin with sanctions?] We talked a lot about sanctions, yes. He’s not thrilled about them, but you know, he’s been able to handle them. But these are pretty painful sanctions [in Graham’s bill];
🟠 We talk a lot about sanctions, and he understands they might be imposed. But you know, he’s a professional;
🟠 [Could they be imposed?] Yes, they could be, of course.
