"The search for survivors of two powerful earthquakes that struck the south-western Japanese island of Kyushu has intensified.
Rescuers used improved weather on Sunday to fly helicopters to the worst-affected areas as tremors continued.
Concern is also growing for nearly 250,000 homeless people.
At least 41 people were killed in Thursday and Saturday's quakes and it is feared that dozens of people could still be trapped under rubble.
The BBC's Robin Brant says fears persist that another big quake may further damage houses already weakened."

"In Tokyo, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the Defence Ministry is working with the U.S. military to start aid flights.
"We are extremely grateful, and we would like to co-ordinate quickly and have the emergency relief be transported in as soon as possible," he said.
Overnight rainfall did not appear to cause any more landslides, as had been feared, and the skies had cleared by morning."

"The Japan Meteorological Agency said that the Saturday quake may have been the main one, with the first one a precursor.
"It is unusual but not unprecedented for a larger and more damaging earthquake to follow what was taken to be the main event," said David Rothery, professor of planetary geosciences at The Open University in Britain."
