Enligt sociala medier på facebook är det på grund av någon jävla park som upproret startade?
Folk skriver i CNNs kommentarfält:
"My dear non turkish friends, most of you are trying to understant what's happening in İstanbul, is it just a public park which you want to save. No it is not a just a green land. This has become a matter about more than just saving trees. This is an 'I can do whatever I damn well want', fascist mentality of this government that not only supresses but attacks its own people."
"This is not about trees anymore, this is about protecting our freedom. Turkey is a democratic country and we fed up government doing things without OUR permission. Government must be our servant and this is what we want, having right to decide what's going on in our country. Government just started to do what they want and we will stop this."
"That's what it should be here. Our government continues to do things without our consent, or even our knowledge, and we haven't gotten enough people together to actually make a difference...yet. Too many are dependent on the government and they think they are being cared for, when they are voluntarily becoming slaves."
Alla förstår väl att det inte handlar om ett par träd när hela landet står i lågor? Det är djupare rotat. Och mer politiskt.
