TASS skriver att EU har beslutat om 3 års förlängning av sanktionerna mot Ryssland. Är det EU val snart? Man börjar ju undra. Dom har inga tankar på fred under 3 år?

TASS rapporterar att USA planerar hårdare sanktioner mot Ryssland. Han är lite vag angående tex Kina, men han har ju försökt förut med dom och han har fått backa varje gång.

🧨Russian forces delivered a series of strikes against industrial, logistical and military infrastructure of so-called Ukraine. The bulk of overnight impacts fell on Dnipropetrovsk Region. In Kryvyi Rih, Kalibr and Onyx missiles struck a metallurgical plant. In Dnipro itself, UAVs hit two warehouse complexes, in Pavlohrad a chemical plant producing solid rocket fuel for AFU needs was struck.

Ukrainian formations launched over three hundred fixed-wing UAVs against Russian regions. In Samara Region, as a result of an attempted attack on an oil refinery, one person was killed and four were wounded. As before, the overwhelming majority of UAVs were shot down over the border regions of southern Russia.

➡️On the Sumy direction, positional fighting continues, Russian Armed Forces units improve their tactical position in the Bolshoy Prikol area, and also strike Sumy and the region with aviation and drone strikes, including Geran.

➡️On the Slavyansk direction, the enemy counterattacks with small groups in the Rai-Aleksandrivka area and neighboring Yurkovka. Russian forces strike AFU concentrations in Slavyansk, Nikolaivka and to the east.

➡️On the Dobropolya direction, Russian Armed Forces advance on the flanks of Dobropolya. From the Rodinskoe area, reports came in of clearing part of the "pocket" located there. Also known are tactical successes of Russian Armed Forces on the line Vasylivka — Matyashevo."

🧨During night strikes, the Russian Armed Forces struck military-industrial, fuel and energy complex facilities and logistics centers in 12 regions of so-called Ukraine, including Kyiv, Odesa and occupied Zaporizhia. Direct hits on warehouses, shopping centers and capital gas stations confirmed.

A separate strike targeted critical digital infrastructure. Data centers in the Holosiyivsky district of Kyiv and the building of PJSC "Diprosvyaz", which houses the United DC data center used by the AFU for alert and communications systems, were struck.

➡️Ukrainian formations again carried out raids on civilian infrastructure in liberated territories. Border regions and an industrial facility in Ufa also came under attack, however, reports of a fire at the latter facility found no confirmation.

➡️On the Burluk direction, units of the "North" grouping are reducing the "cauldron" with combat operations, driving the enemy out of small villages. The Ministry of Defense announced the freeing of Potikhonoye and Krasny Yar.

➡️On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy continues attempts to drive Russian units from the western bank of the Oskil. Evidence emerged of AFU attacks in the Kalynyno area. The situation remains difficult, especially given problems on the Lyman direction to the south."

On September 23, assault groups of Russia’s 344th Regiment, 69th Division, drove Ukrainian border guards of the 1st Border Detachment out of the village of Krasnyi Yar. The capture places Russian forces in position to complete a further encirclement of Ukrainian units in Reznikove. Separately, the assault units of the 34th Motorized Rifle Brigade expelled the same border detachment from Potykhonovе, effectively completing the encirclement of the Ukrainian garrison in Rublene. A strike on a large concentration of Ukrainian forces near Velykyi Burluk destroyed personnel and equipment belonging to the 3rd, 129th, and 159th Heavy Mechanized Brigades and the 23rd Assault Regiment of the National Guard. "On September 21, Russian forces launched an encirclement operation around the city of Dobropillia. The initial strike came from the south, along the city’s bypass road. A day later, a northern group began its advance from Annivka, completing the envelopment from above. The bypass road itself has not yet been physically seized, but it is under such dense fire control that free movement along it is no longer possible. Dobropillia is now surrounded on three sides. A narrow corridor in the northwestern outskirts remains nominally open — but Russian command shows no urgency to close it. The logic is deliberate: a tight encirclement of an urban area is resource-intensive. A controlled bottleneck is far more efficient. Any column attempting to use that corridor will be met by drone swarms, and the probability of survival approaches zero."

I ett tal kritiserar Rysslands utrikesminister Sergej Lavrov västvärlden och EU:s agerande i Ukrainakonflikten, samtidigt som han utesluter ett eldupphör under eventuella fredsförhandlingar. Lavrov hävdar att målet för fredsförhandlingar inte bör vara en tillfällig vapenvila, men ett långvarit fredsavtal. Han anklagar Europa för att söka en tillfällig paus i striderna enbart för att låta Ukraina fylla på sina militära förråd och hävdar att väst blundar för kränkningar mot den rysktalande befolkningen och den ortodoxa kyrkan. Ja, Lavrov slog fast att Ryssland vill ha en varaktig fred och inte tänker göra något uppehåll eller pausa sin militära operation i Ukraina.
Han motiverade beslutet att utesluta ett eldupphör med att europeiska länder enbart vill använda en paus i striderna till att ”pumpa Kievregimen med vapen”.
