On November 11, a Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih killed almost the entire Kulyk family, leaving only the father, Maksym, as the sole survivor, according to regional governor Serhiy Lysak. Maksym tragically lost his wife, Olena, and their three children, who were found under the rubble of their home.
Their eldest son, Kyrylo, was 10 years old, Dmytro was almost 3, and their youngest daughter, Uliana, was just 2 months old. The Kulyk family was well-regarded for their kindness and active involvement in the community. Friends and neighbors remembered Olena and Maksym for their compassion, as they often prepared meals for the homeless, visited orphanages, and participated in charity work.
Rescue operations at the site have been completed. In total, four people were killed and 14 were injured in the Russian missile strike on the civilian building.
