👨👩👧 "I fight for my family", — 33-year-old gunner Vitaly on the Swedish CV90 BMP
He joined the Armed Forces as a volunteer in 2022. At that time, he did not even think about where exactly he would end up - in which unit and in which position.
"I don't want the enemy to come to my house, that's why I'm here. Of course, it is scary. But we all clearly know what we are fighting for,
Vitaly explains.
First, he learned to be a BMP-1 gunner, then while studying abroad he mastered the Swedish model. He tells how he hit the enemy from his car:
"They went on the offensive. And we had very clear coordination and interaction with intelligence. We got the coordinates and I collapsed from a closed position. From the first shot - on target. And they started running away."
