Även om jag fördömer gasanvändning så ska det tilläggas att gasen Ryssland nyligen använde inte är dödlig men kan orsaka illamående och kräkningar. Användes i första världskriget för att få soldater att ta av sig maskerna så de kunde utsättas för dödlig gas.
Ryssar har använt tårgas vid tidigare insatser vid fronten.

Även tårgas är förbjuden i strid enligt Geneve protokollet. Protokollet är ratificerad av rysseriet, men som vanligt gillar de bryta mot alla avtal de finner lämpligt.
