Wagner PMC units continue to push through enemy positions south of Artemovsk with the obvious intention of eventually reaching the village of Ivanivske and cutting off the main supply lines of the enemy grouping in Artemovsk.
In this connection, the battles south of the city, in the area of Opytny and Kleshcheyevka, are of particular importance.
Fierce fighting for Opytnoye has been going on for the second week, and so far, the enemy has not been driven out of the village, although most of the village is under our control.
The offensive on Kleshcheyevka began a little later. A few days ago, groups of "musicians" knocked out the enemy from their positions to the south of the village, capturing several important strongholds. Yesterday the Wagners succeeded in breaking through to the Kleshcheevka railway station, and in doing so, they managed to get hold of the residential area of the village from the northeastern direction.
Thus the enemy is seized in pincers, but realizing the importance of Kleshcheevka, they desperately continue to hold their ground and even try to counterattack, but without success - the Wagners very rarely give up what they have already taken.
