Along the way, our troops are fighting for Belaya Gora, Loskutovka and Volcheyarovka. There are also battles near Nikolaevka.
To the north of the Gorskoye-Zolotoye now-official mini-cauldron, the Allied forces have now taken Rai-Aleksandrovka, Loskutovka, Podlesnoye, Mirnaya Dolina, shutting the lid on the cauldron.
To the south, the Allied force seized Katerinovka, starting the fire under the pot of potage. To the east the Allied forces are advancing through Orekhovo to come at the flank of the cauldron.
With the Allied forces entering Volcheyarovka and advancing in the Belaya Gora area, the operational encirclement of Lisichansk is starting to form.
PS. According to a German journalist who managed to make it out of Lisichansk, the encirclement is already essentially complete.
