During the offensive the enemy lost 67 rashists, 6 T-62 tanks, 2 "Grad" multiple-launch rocket systems, 3 "Msta-C" self-propelled howitzers, 3 armoured vehicles and 13 other vehicles. A control post for UAVs and a command post of one of the enemy units were also destroyed.

On May 29, at 22.30, the AFU decided to launch a new attack in the Kherson direction. Apparently, the "attack" on May 28, where an entire battalion got into the fire bag and was destroyed, was a kind of "reconnaissance in combat" with a sad result for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

And despite this, they decided not to cancel the "offensive" plans, and therefore several battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at once from the Apostolovo region (in the north) and in the Davydov Brod region (from the west) tried to launch a simultaneous night attack.

But, it is very likely that the impression of the defeat of the 28th on the warriors was oppressive, and they really did not want to go on the attack, and therefore, as soon as both columns came under artillery attack, they immediately and, obviously with relief, turned back.

From the very morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been attacking Donetsk. There is a hit on two schools. At school No. 22 - two dead, another person was mortally wounded at school No. 5. There are also casualties in the city. According to the Headquarters of the Territorial Defense of the DPR, a total of 6 dead and 14 wounded are currently known. Among those killed was a 12-year-old child.

Two 14-year-old girls were injured as a result of the shelling of the Budennovsky district of Donetsk. One of them died, the second was hospitalized in a medical facility.
