The current situation in the DPR
Over the past day, the enemy has launched artillery strikes both on army positions and traditionally on civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in all three directions:
Gorlovskoye (north),
Donetsk (center) ,
Mariupol (south).
As a result of shelling , at least 13 civilians received injuries of varying severity . There are casualties among the military killed and wounded. Yesterday, during the assault on Ukrainian positions in N. n. Volnovakha, being at the forefront of the attack, the commander of the Sparta battalion, Vladimir Zhoga (Vokha), died. Let me remind you that Vokha began his military career at the age of 20, taking part in the heroic defense of his hometown of Slavyansk back in 2014. He immediately showed himself as a brave fighter, and soon as a competent commander, as a result of which, after the death of the legendary Motorola, he headed Sparta. Starting from the defense of Slavyansk throughout the war, Vokha had several wounds, but did not stop personally participating in hostilities. He has many military awards, and yesterday, by decree of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Vladimir Zhoge was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Republic.
The line of contact in the Gorlovsky and Donetsk directions has not changed. The enemy is firmly entrenched in these sectors of the front and is actively snarling, using large-caliber artillery. The movement of the Armed Forces of the DPR occurs only in the Mariupol direction. The cleansing of Volnovakha from Ukrainian militants is proceeding slowly but surely. There are fierce street fights.
The complexity of the situation is due to the fact that in this settlement the main core of the enemy defense is the Nazi battalion "Donbass" , distinguished by its atrocities against the civilian population of Donbass back in 2014. The Nazis understand that no one will stand on ceremony with them and, at best, they will stand trial for their war crimes, stand firm. Simultaneously do not allow other few units of the Ukrainian security forces to lay down their arms, threatening to be shot.

After taking control of the city of Pologi and other settlements in the area, the chances of escaping Mariupol for Ukrainian units are negligible.
