Sanktionsvapnet tömdes under resans gång. Obegripligt att USA och EU inte har förstått det. Det har blivit allt mindre morötter och allt fler piskor. Putin kommenterade i dagarna att Väst skulle bara hitta på nya sanktioner oavsett vad Ryssland gjorde. Underförstått, då kan man lika gärna löpa linan ut.
Kom ihåg att USA försökte stoppa Nord Stream 2 med Navalnys kalsonger som förevändning. Tyskland tvingades rätta sig i ledet då. När det inte riktigt fungerade slog man till mot tyska företag inblandade i projektet och sanktionslistor förbereddes i Washington. När det oundvikliga närmade sig och Gazprom lade ned de sista rören, då började "Tysklands beroende av Ryssland" problematiseras. NS2 skulle certifieras och Ukraina konsulteras... Rena tillfälligheter förstås...
Finland har också dragit sitt strå till stacken.
