Men uppskattningsvis i Göteborg var nära 1% smittade av befolkningen under förra veckan.
Det skulle med en 100ggr större smitta innebära 100%
Is that based on random blood sample analysis? If the results are from the healthcare system then that’ll skew high. I don’t believe that it’s a true 100x increase even if something like a 0.5% peak becoming 50% is within the realms of possibility, but it’s a very troubling warning sign (IF it isn’t down to complete incompetence from the professor). Maybe that 1% has become 10%, for instance. That’s still a catastrophic scenario for the healthcare system to deal with and considering the shipping season + trams are still packed, busses are now being merged together so less busses are available and they are more packed, and that Västtrafik is now sending out ticket controllers to fine everybody they can find, I’m not surprised at the sudden increase.
Sending out ticket controllers right now is horrible. How many new people do they come in contact with in an enclosed space over the course of the day? Just one of them being infected could lead to a huge super-spreading event.
