Ah, the far-right kind of racist. The one that has to reach for politics to attack a stranger. The kind whose words lack meaning, value and merit. But your politics reveal your true colors, a withered beast crying for attention — begging for the already ruined economy to be saved. With eyes of faux-Disney styled dollar signs, you close them to the dead of this country.
“I can’t see it in the statistics!” You cry, thrashing wildly in your filth. The argument is either calculated or wonderfully stupid. Much like how the IVA’s backlog has grown in pace with the COVID19 death backlog — even greater is the dead reported monthly and yearly. Months have to be waited for these backlogs to flesh out the majority of deaths, but it gives you the opportunity to crawl from your den and state such ridiculous bullshit like “Old people aren’t dying more than usual! Back to work! The dead are of no concern.”
To accuse me of false empathy while lacking any yourself is a funny thing. To consider the economies survival and express worry is smart. But to value it at the price of an ever-increasing amount of lives is beginning to look more morally shaky and ethically grey for every family shattered by this virus.
Things will be tough. Hard times make hard men. Hard men make good times. Good times make weak men. Weak men make hard times. The cycle will continue, but there is only one of these two things we can bring back from the dead.
