In any event, we know that climate changes since long before the industrial revolution are small; much smaller than those which occurred thousands of years ago.
So shut up and relax. Try not to pollute the streams and oceans, don't waste energy, and use common sense when it comes to our environment. But sit back and enjoy a way of life which has lifted millions out of dire poverty. Take advantage of what fossil fuels have to offer. Fly to far off vacation spots, drive a nice car, enjoy an air conditioned house. Eat beef. Make money and, if you wish, give some of it to the poor. Keep working on alternative energy sources, but avoid artificial subsidies and government sticking there collective nose into everything. Let the free market decide when we should all start driving electric cars, NOT the government or uninformed and confused activists like you and your father.
Things are good and they're going to be even better as long as wacky ideas like the "Green New Deal" are soundly rejected by sane citizens.
