Bulgarian Police Seize 21 Kilos of Opium at Border Check Point
9 September 2007, Sunday
Bulgaria's border police seized on Sunday a total 21,2 kilograms of opium at the Kapitan Andreevo check point on the border with Turkey, in southeastern Bulgaria.
The drugs were found in a secret compartment a car with Swedish licence plates, driven by a Swede of Iranian descent, who was travelling from Turkey to Sweden. The driver has been detained.
Bulgaria's border with Turkey is on one of the main routes of drugs trafficking between the Middle East and western Europe, with Bulgarian border police busting attempts to smuggle hundreds of kilos of drugs monthly.

... Bra jobbat Bulgarien (igen).
