Inte eftersom det var negerpoliser. BLM kommer inte säga ett pip om det här - enbart när det är "onda" vita poliser som tar fast nedknarkade grovt kriminella Dindoonuffin-negrer.

Den enda som försökte stoppa det hela var, hör och häpna, en vit polis. Så därför kommer det inte höras något från media.

Detta plus att BLM behövs inte just nu för att skapa oro, så då uteblir ordern om kaos.

Då kommer det bli liv i media. Och kanske på gatorna. Polisen förbereder sig på att det kan bli våldsamt på gatorna.

Five former Memphis police officers who were fired for their actions during the arrest of Tyre Nichols earlier this month were indicted on charges including murder and kidnapping, Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy announced Thursday.

The former officers, Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Justin Smith, Emmit Martin, and Desmond Mills Jr., have each been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, two charges of aggravated kidnapping, two charges of official misconduct and one charge of official oppression, Mulroy said.

Law enforcement agencies nationwide are bracing for protests and potential unrest following the release of video, multiple sources told CNN. The Major Cities Chiefs Association, one of the leading professional law enforcement organizations, has convened several calls with member agencies, according to the group’s executive director, Laura Cooper.

A law enforcement source familiar with the national coordination told CNN that in at least one of those calls Memphis police told participants to be on alert for unrest.

När man läser det här så känns det jävligt grovt, mord förstår jag eftersom killen dog, men kidnappning?

Åklagaren har förklarat varför han tycker det är kidnappning. Även om det började som ett lagligt ingripande av polisen, så har det blivit olagligt vid en viss punkt när poliserna överskrider vad lagen befogar dom. Och det som händer efter ska betraktas som att poliserna begår brott.

Ofta tänker man kidnappning som att någon förs bort till en okänd plats, men åklagaren ser det vidare än så.

Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy explained to reporters why there are charges related to aggravated kidnapping in Tyre Nichols' case.

Mulroy, addressing a news conference on Thursday, defined kidnapping as "any unlawful confinement of another which substantially restrains someone's liberty."

He then described how the circumstances in Nichols' case fit the kidnapping charge.

Åklagaren:

At a certain point in the sequence of events, it is our view that this, if it was a legal detention to begin with — it certainly became illegal at a certain point and it was unlawful detention. The aggravated nature of the charge is because if that kidnapping resulted in bodily injury, that's one grounds for saying that it is aggravated kidnapping. If the persons involved in that unlawful restraint of liberty possessed weapons, that is another ground for saying that the kidnapping was aggravated," he said.
