As American Jew I have felt the sting of Trump and his MAGA movement for more than 6 years now. I also have a history major and so am very familiar with what happened in 1930s Germany and Trump has been trying to follow Hitler's playbook in his effort to replace democracy with fascism and it really is horrifying. The next two elections will determine which direction America takes so vote straight BLUE everyone.

As the son of Jewish parents, though a nonbeliever, I don't take offense in any sense relating to religion or even cultural identity. Rather, I take offense just as a human being at the sheer stupidity of Trump's statements. I see the antisemitism as just a by product of generalized hate, stupidity, and opportunism. If Trump for some reason believed that hating Belgians would fire up his base, then he'd be all in on anti-Belgianism. (btw, I find these statements by Trump just as offensive as his disgusting, stomach turning "Muslim ban". The founding premise of the USA is that individuals are judged only by their deeds and intentions, not by anything else, and everyone is welcome here.)
