Tändstift för subaru leone coupe EA82T

Varför skulle han inte kunna köra med resistor-stift? I princip alla stift förutom på 60-70 talet har kört med reststor-stift då dessa minskar störningar för radio samt elektroniken i bilar. Resistorn ligger på extremt låg ohm.

MEN det kan vara så att resistorn sitter i tändhatten på original tändkablarna. Då är det en annan femma.

"As well as reducing electrical noise for radio, television and mobile telephones etc, many modern ignition systems require resistor plugs to stop electrical noise from interfering with the vehicle's on-board electronic control units (ECUs). If non-resistor plugs are used in place of resistor ones, the result can be malfunction and in some cases immobilisation of the vehicle. Resistor spark plugs should always be fitted, therefore, where specified.
...The function of the resistor is to reduce electrical noise generated by the ignition system. The most effective place to situate a resistor in the high tension circuit is as close to the spark plug as possible. This makes the spark plug an ideal place to house the resistor. Because the resistance value is only approximately 5000 ohms, there is no detrimental effect on engine performance, power output, vehicle emissions etc..."

Och Denso säger ungefär samma sak:
"...Often people fear the word resistor because it makes them think the voltage and current is limited. The resistor that is fitted in the spark plug is 5k Ohm. This is nothing compared to the resistance of the air or the air/fuel mixture in an engine. There is no measurable effect on performance. The resistor is necessary to prevent problems with engine management systems, cellular telephones and datalogging equipment. The spark plug is the best place to put the resistor, because this is the closest you can get to the spark itself. The resistor value of a resistor spark plug and resistor leads and caps is less than 0.01% of the total resistor value of the air/fuel mixture inside the engine."




EDIT: Han har ju instruktionsboken till bilen, där står det vad han ska ha, så det blir nog bra

Gamla bilar vill gärna börja missa, sega på kallstart, dra mer bränsle, sämmre förbränning lika dant med gräsklippare, grästrimmer och motorsågar. R stift ska användas i moderna bilar med gps och elende.

Då frågar jag igen, tror du att motortillverkaren bara slagit tärning när de valt att speca olika elektrodavstånd…?

Bara för att du tycker du inte märker några problem så är det inte ett bevis på att allt är som det ska. Felaktigt elektrodavstånd kan påverka olika saker på sikt, och varför inte köra med det som specas istället för att labba själv när det inte finns någon vettig anledning.
Att motorn startar på t ex 0,8 och verkar gå ok, kan ändå vara dumt om den ska ha ett annat avstånd. Det kan orsaka andra följdfenomen eller problem som kanske inte visar sig direkt.


Och du, jag är inte novis på detta…..

Varför inte bara använda rätt stift, som jag för övrigt redan länkat till?
