Jag blir fan spysjuk när jag läser den här texten, vilket jävla trams. Jag vill inte kalla det för varken liberalism eller patriotism.Det här är "idiotism" för lågbegåvade.

Att hylla dödandet av människor är klassisk fascism. Mussolinis svartskjortor hade kunnat sjunga samma sång när de marscherade mot Rom.

Det är intressant att notera att när låten skrevs 2001 fanns det fortfarande ett motstånd mot den framväxande fascismen i amerikansk politik och amerikanska media. Låten var därför kontroversiell, och ABC vägrade spela den på en av sina shower.

Idag 18 år senare är processen fullbordad. Demokraternas nyliberala högerflygel och de neokonservativa republikanerna har smält samman till en fascistisk krigshöger, The War Party, som öppet förespråkar en aggressiv, xenofob och jingoistisk utrikespolitik.

Ingen skulle lyfta på ögonen om låten spelades idag.

Tyckte det förklarades väldigt väl i denna tråd att det är liberalism vi har att göra med.
