Skottlossning på köpcenter i Texas (2017-01-22)

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus called it "a robbery gone really, really bad." McManus said according to preliminary information two men attempted to rob a Kay's Jewelers at the mall.

As they left the store two "good Samaritans" attempted to stop the suspects. McManus said that is when one of the suspects shot and killed one of the citizens attempting to intervene.

McManus said that is when the second citizen, who had a concealed carry license, pulled his gun and killed that suspect.

The second suspect ran away through the mall, shooting as he went. He injured six people and is still at large, though police do not think he is still in the mall.

At least one person was killed and six other victims were injured in a shooting at a San Antonio mall, officials said.

The incident began when two suspects tried to rob a Kay Jewelers store at Rolling Oaks Mall, according to San Antonio police.

One person tried to intervene and was shot and killed by one of the suspects, police said. Another person shot that suspect, and the second suspect fled through the mall, shooting several other people, police said.
