Lets check your source:
This practice is emphasized in Shia Islam whereby adherents are permitted to conceal their religion when under threat of persecution or compulsion.[3][4] However, it is also permitted in Sunni Islam under certain circumstances.
And what are these circumstances? Well, your link says threat of death. So sunni can ONLY use it under threat of violence or death. If YOU had bothered to read your own source, instead of lying about reading it but actually only reading the first paragraph, we could have avoided this, yes.
All religions are stupid, so... that would not separate them much..
Right... I'd better answer this in English as something appears lost in translation here.
That does not invalidate my post at all since the only thing I stated was that it is practiced in both variants of Islam, which is evidently true, contrary to what the user I was quoting had stated. I never mentioned anything about it being more frequently used by members of a certain denomination or being used as frequently by members of both denominations. I only stated that it is used by both of them to disprove the notion that Taqiyya is solely a Shia principle.
Of course I read my sources, who are you to tell me otherwise? Implying me being a liar just because you read too much between the lines does not help this discussion at all and mostly looks like desperate hair-splitting from your end. But at least we can agree on religions being stupid.
edit: Judging by earlier posts from your account there seems to be no problem with your understanding of the Swedish language which just makes your arriving at this particular conclusion even more confusing. Now, I don't mind people writing in their language of choice but I seriously thought language was the problem here. Not so sure about that anymore, though.
