Dino Riders som spelfilm!

Hollywood studios are far from done looking to the 1980s for inspiration, even after years of churning out reboots/remakes and movie adaptations of popular ’80s properties. Case in point, a Jem and the Holograms live-action movie is less than two weeks away from reaching theaters (at the time of writing this); meanwhile, Paramount Pictures and Hasbro have revealed their intention to continue releasing Transformers movies through to 2025.

Dino-Riders is another kid-friendly, ’80s intellectual property that we’ve even recommended for such a blockbuster adaptation in the past, though nothing of the sort has come to pass thus far. However, that may be changing now, as Mattel is reported to be in the early stages of turning Dino-Riders into a live-action feature film (with franchise potential, no doubt).
