Slavsia Rus (= Ryssland Moderland)
Through the thickness of centuries,
Throughout the far-faraway countries,
My brothers have come up together –
These are Dazhdbog’s (= the slavic sun and fertility god, see below) sons.
While tightening up our inspiring flags,
We will restore the old Rus!
We will preserve the testament of Pravi (* see below) -
I swear in front of Gods!
Oj-da you, my dear mother,
Night - Svarogovna (the slavic godess of death?),
Hide away the old grey-haired wishes of our fathers
From a bad eye of a ferocious enemy - vorog (* see below)
Deep-deep in the sacred forests.
As before, with her heart beating hardly,
She was saying hardly breathing:
Long live my dear Mother-Land!
Long live the Russian soul!
Through the thickness of centuries,
Throughout far away countries,
My brothers are echoing:
Long live Rus, my Mother-Land!

* Pravi = In many Slavic languages, "pravo" or "prawo" means "law", "rule", one's right to something. It also refers to the law of Svarog.
