Eichmann hade fyra söner. Den yngste av dem,
Ricardo Eichmann, född 1955, är mycket riktigt arkeolog, och var verksam som professor vid Tysklands arkeologiska institut ända till år 2020. Han har sagt att faderns straff var rättvist. Dock verkar han inte ha talat om fadern så ofta, förutom i en längre intervju från 1995.

However, the toughest questions came at home, from his sons, Gaspar, 8, and Sergej, 6. Earlier this week, an Israeli journalist visited the Eichmanns, sparking the children’s curiosity.
″I told them about the man in the brown shirt and with the black moustache who did many mean things to other people,″ Eichmann recalled. ″I told them that many fathers and grandfathers participated in this, and that their grandpa was among them.″
The children asked what happened to their grandfather. ″I told them he was imprisoned.″ How long? the children asked. ″Two years,″ Eichmann told them. What happened then? the children asked. ″He was sentenced to death and executed,″ came the answer.
How? ″Like in Lucky Luke,″ Eichmann said he told his children, referring to a cowboy comic strip popular in Germany. Gaspar, an avid comics reader, knew immediately what his father meant. ″They hanged him,″ Eichman recalled his son’s answer.
Eichmann said it was difficult to tell his children about the past. ″But I don’t want them to grow up like I did, having to come to grips with all this alone.″

Dieter Eichmann, född 1942, som alltjämt tycks vara i livet. Han tycks dock aldrig ha gett några intervjuer.

Brother Dieter lives with his Italian wife, Martha Valinotti, in an apartment in Buenos Aires, just several kilometers away from where the Mossad abducted his father.
Dieter was a construction manager, who divided his time between Germany and Argentina before retiring. He now owns a number of rental properties.
He has two children and he has never given an interview, but according to Carmen he believes his father was innocent.
