Hur kan man ange vilka filer som man inte behöver ge full sökväg till för att de direkt ska hittas med run? Letar windows igenom en viss mapp/mappar för att hitta en .exe-fil som stämmer överens med det man skrev in (tex msconfig) och finns det i så fall något sätt att lägga till mappar i till den sökvägen? Jag har försökt söka på flashback men inte riktigt vetat vad man ska söka på (global path?). Tacksam för svar.

Ja där har vi det. Tack så mycket. Ifall det är någon annan som vill veta utan att behöva klicka runt:
1. Open the Windows ‘Run’ dialog box – Start Menu -> Run or Hot Keys: Win button + R on your keyboard 2. Type regedit and press ‘Enter’, you’ll see the Windows Registry editor window. 3. Now find and expand this path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\App Paths. Now leave that window opened! 4. Now is time to create the command (Keyword) that will run your application thru the Start -> Run Window. Let’s say you want to run Microsoft Word and want to use command ‘word‘ to run MS Word. You have to find where the start execution file of MS Word is located (in this example: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.EXE). Now copy that Path we’ll need it to create the fast command. Now Back to ‘regedit’ window – Click with right mouse button at App Paths and then choose from right mouse button menu ‘New – > Key’ and new key will be created, but don’t forget to rename it! The new name should be the command you’d like to use for this program in this example the command is ‘word‘ and after the command add .exe so the Key name is word.exe. Now your key is created successfully! 5. Click on your key and then from the main window choose ‘Default‘ Right mouse click and choose ‘Modify‘. I little pop-up window will pop and enter the application path there on Value Data field: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.EXE. Click ‘OK’ and you’re Done! 6. Now test your command: Open the Windows ‘Run’ – Start Menu -> Run or Hot Keys: Win button + R on your keyboard and type ‘word‘ and now your MS Word should run.
